OMG - can I just say that having to unsubscribe and resubscribe to billiyuhns and billiyuhns (sorry, Carl) of email lists has been a project-and-a-half all on its own?! I think I’m still not resubscribed to all of them.
The nudgy part of me wants to retain the ’subscribed on’ dates (since some of these are dated waay back in 1994) in the admin interface - but the rest of me says take a better and easier way, to h311 with the bragging rights.
So, tell me if I’m being just a little a-r…
In the orientations they said “Save everything” (regarding the tenure chase), okay so far. To help me track just what I do across the day I set up an ActivityListByDay file (in Wrd - debating switching to Excel). I have a reminder set to poke me to fill in what I remember doing so far that day - looking for patterns, etc. I’m also including when I got here, when I went to lunch, when I left, etc. (and notice I keep forgetting to eat lunch, except when invited out by colleagues so far)
Is this just nuts? That I’m troubled enough to ask the question makes me feel like I am going to far, but I’ll keep going until I manage to ignore the reminders long enough to not reset them next semester.
