LITA @ ALA Midwinter 2010, Boston
I’ve also posted the LITA Events calendar on behalf of BIGWIG over on LITAblog.
(It’s been a busy night for calendaring, what can I say?)

Word is getting out about ALA Connect which will officially launch April 6th. Connect is in soft-launch (or gamma) right now, so if you’ve been wanting to take a peek…
Connect is for ALA collaborative work and library-land professional networking. If you’re an ALA member, you can log in with your ALA website username & password - your Connect experience will be tailored to your ALA memberships, you’ll already be subscribed to the discussion pages for the units of which you are a member and you’ll be able to join other existing groups or create your own. If you’re not an ALA member, you can register on the site to participate, but you’ll need to be an ALA member to access the full functionality.
Where in the World is Aaron the Librarian?!
edit: btw the “**” means I **must** attend the meeting & “*” means I sorta oughta attend
ok, a beef with the “Agenda” view: Why does only one meeting with the same start time show up?! I know I’m double-booked for at least three “must attend” meetings, but only the alphabetically 1st one shows up
An unconference in the middle of a conference, I love it! Subversion is fun - especially since I’ll likely be in at least 10 other spaces when the program portion of the unconference happens.

The pieces that are up already are great, looking forward to the discussions during and after teh fisikal event
Thanks to the Disruptive Library Technology Jester I just learned about HitchHikr (I feel soo behind the times!)
There is a HitchHikr Page for the ALA 2007 Annual Conference with some on- & some off-topic posts and pix already in there. For those of us wanting easy updates, an RSS feed would be a nice feature to add for HitchHikr (I didn’t find one available)
For my LITA program specific comments, see LITAblog.
I’ll be light on posts here for a bit (fyi)
